The PCCR Community spent a fun-filled and memorable team building with the theme “OPTIMIZE: Faster, Higher, Stronger” at Kasile Hills Nature Resort at Cabuyao, Laguna on July 27 to 29 for the Teaching and August 3 to 5 for Non-teaching employees.
Organized with APEX, the three-day event provided an enriching experience for all employees through different activities and games. This year, the school body acknowledged the exceptional growth of the PCCR community. Challenging employees to exceed expectations through faster execution of goals, higher work standards, and stronger performance, the team building put emphasis on the importance of camaraderie in the workplace.
Board Members: Mr. Cay Bautista and Mr. John Paul Lim, Chairman Paul Victor Villegas, Executive Vice President Mr. Karim Bangcola, and PCCR’s very own Rockstar President, Ms. Ma. Angelica Lei Bautista, enthusiastically participated in accomplishing tasks and competing with their respective teams. The event’s highlights include the Web Game, which encourages everyone to apply their learnings by ensuring that all participants gets to pass through the web of strings without touching it.
Another memorable part of the experience is the after parties where employees can enjoy the company of one another through drinks, food, and stories. Employees were also able to showcase their singing, dancing, and acting skills in the first ever PCCR Got Talent contest. To show their appreciation, Pres. Bautista and Mr. Cay provided generous prizes for activity winners such as mobile phones, PCCR merchandise, and monetary tokens.
OPTIMIZE 2023 ended with Pres. Lei’s report on the current standing of the institution in terms of enrollment and operation. In her speech, she encouraged everyone to put their best foot forward in every task to reach greater heights but also left a reminder to care for all employees as faster, higher, and stronger PCCR family.
