MANILA, Philippines – The JFAB Songfest, one of the Philippine College of Criminology’s (PCCR) most anticipated traditions, returned to the JFAB Multipurpose Hall on June 27, 2024, for its latest edition. Organized by the PCCR Student Experience Division, the competition once again provided a platform for aspiring vocalists from PCCR and other schools, showcasing a diverse range of musical styles—from soulful ballads to high-energy pop performances.

Emmanuel Tura, a third-year PCCR Criminology student, claimed the championship title with his powerful vocals and commanding stage presence. Christopher Aballar, a Secondary Education major from Western Colleges, secured 1st runner-up title, while Mardee Fermin, a Human Resource Development Management student from the Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology, took 2nd runner-up position.

The winners join an esteemed list of JFAB Songfest alumni, including viral singing sensation Katrina Velarde and X-Factor UK finalist Alisah Bonaobra, solidifying the competition’s reputation as a launchpad for exceptional musical talent.
