hilippines – The Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR) and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) renewed their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing at the PCG Headquarters in Manila on May 6, 2024.

PCCR President Ma. Angelica Lei Bautista and PCG Vice Admiral Charlie Rances formalized the agreement, reaffirming the institutions’ shared commitment to academic collaboration and professional development.

The renewed partnership focuses on internship opportunities, curriculum enhancement, faculty immersion, and collaborative research. Additionally, PCCR currently supports 15 PCG scholars in its master’s degree program, covering 100% of tuition and miscellaneous fees.

As PCCR continues to advance criminology education, President Bautista emphasized the institution’s commitment to integrating modern technology into its programs, ensuring graduates are well-equipped to meet the evolving demands of law enforcement and maritime security.
