MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine College of Criminology’s (PCCR) senior-year Criminology students, the Tindig-Likha Class of 2024, have successfully completed their on-the-job training (OJT) internship, marking a significant milestone in their journey toward careers in criminology and public safety.

Led by PCCR’s College of Criminal Justice Dean Dr. Gaypelyn M. Casiw, alongside Prof. Jameil B. Lominog, Jail Senior Superintendent Fermin Rodorendo P. Enriquez (Ret.), Prof. Graham Dee Marinda, and Ms. Maricris Cabanayan, a total of 557 fourth-year students completed 270 internship hours per semester as part of their academic training.

Through PCCR’s partnerships with key law enforcement agencies—including the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)—students gained practical experience in real-world settings. This hands-on training allowed them to apply classroom knowledge to real-life scenarios, equipping them with the skills and expertise needed in the criminal justice system and public safety sector.

By integrating quality education with field experience, PCCR remains committed to shaping future law enforcement professionals who are prepared to make meaningful contributions to society.
