MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR) honored its Class of 2024 through a series of commencement exercises, celebrating the achievements of graduates from the College of Criminal Justice, High School, and Graduate School. Held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Plenary Hall and the Manila Hotel Centennial Hall, the ceremonies gathered faculty, families, and industry leaders to witness the next generation of law enforcers, security experts, and public servants take their first steps into the professional world.

Each event featured distinguished keynote speakers from law enforcement, intelligence, and government, highlighting the values of justice, integrity, and service that define PCCR’s legacy.

Forging the Future of Criminal Justice

The 65th Commencement Exercises of the College of Criminal Justice took place on August 3, 2024, at the PICC Plenary Hall, with Atty. Jaime B. Santiago, Director of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), as the keynote speaker. Addressing the graduates, Santiago emphasized their responsibility in upholding ethical leadership and fairness in law enforcement.

“You are stepping into a profession that demands not just skill, but character. Your duty is to enforce the law with integrity and ensure that justice is served fairly,” he told the graduates.

Following his address, degrees were conferred, and graduates took an oath to uphold PCCR’s core values of passion, integrity, and excellence — a pledge that now guides them as they enter the field.

Keep striving, whether in higher education or the path you choose, and remember that perseverance and determination are the keys to success for the Filipino youth in building a strong future.”), Vice Mayor Nieto said.
