At PCCR, we believe in recognizing and celebrating outstanding achievement in the field of criminology. Today, we were privileged to witness a truly momentous occasion as our College President, Ms. Ma. Angelica Lei Bautista, and esteemed Board of Trustees member, Mr. Jean Paul Lim, fulfilled their promise to honor excellence in our community.

In a grand awarding ceremony, Ms. Lei Bautista proudly presented Ms. Maria Ria E. Velasquez with a well-deserved incentive of 750,000 pesos. Ms. Velasquez achieved an impressive Top 5 ranking in the recent Licensure Examination for Criminologist, showcasing her dedication and exceptional skills in the field.

But wait; there’s more. In addition to the monetary reward, Ms. Ria was also granted a full scholarship to pursue her Master of Science in Criminal Justice at our prestigious PCCR Graduate School–undeniably a generous award that showcases the school’s commitment to training upcoming criminologists and providing them with the resources they need to be successful in their careers.

The awarding ceremony was attended by notable individuals who share our passion for excellence. Alongside Ms. Lei Bautista and Mr. Japp Yii, we were honored to have the presence of our Executive Vice President, Mr. Karim Bangcola, as well as Dr. Noel Sergio, our VP for Institutional Planning and Development. Representing the dedicated team behind PCCR’s success were AVP Sir Eduard Ongleo Mendiola Solomon, Dean of the Graduate School, Dr. Jezreel Vicente, and Dean of the College of Criminal Justice, Dr. Gaypelyn Casiw.

This occasion is only one example of how PCCR recognizes criminology excellence. Under the visionary leadership of President Lei Bautista, we have a tradition of recognizing and celebrating excellent accomplishments. In fact, as part of our commitment to excellence, we provide substantial financial prizes to the board exam top scorers: 1 million pesos for Rank 1, 750,000 pesos for Ranks 2 to 5, and 500,000 pesos for Ranks 6 to 10.

We cordially encourage you to become a part of the dynamic learning and teaching environment at PCCR, where brilliance is not only praised but actively fostered. Enroll now and experience an education that goes beyond expectations, where promises are fulfilled and futures are shaped. Together, we can shape the criminologists of the future, preparing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to make a significant impact in the fields they choose.

Let’s tip our hats off to Ms. Maria Ria E. Velasquez’s outstanding accomplishments, which serve as an inspiration for our students. We also want to express our congratulations to everyone of the PCCR CCJ’s personnel, teachers, and administration for their commitment to the field of criminology. Making a difference and paving the way for a more promising future for our industry are what binds us together.

Join us in celebrating excellence at PCCR, where dreams become realities and extraordinary achievements are celebrated!
